On This Red Planet we’ve already asked the question: Can Liverpool Win the League? which was a three part series looking at our potential rivals for the title, as well as our own credentials; since publishing the final part: Premier League Title Winners: Two Horse Race the Reds have taken one point from two games and Man City lost both their matches so I’ll take equal credit and blame for that.

This is going to be a regular update for subscribers about the state of the nation, not with particular focus on Liverpool just what the underlying numbers tell us about various teams’ performances. One thing it will do though is look ahead to our upcoming opponents and how they are playing.

(There’s also a detailed breakdown of the Reds’ crucial underlying performance this season in the league context coming up on Mizgan’s Deep Dives blog early next week)

Everton

You can scroll right for even more data.

Detailed look at our city rivals for subscribers only.
